Terms of service

These terms apply to every order placed on this website. Please read them before ordering.

1. Who we are

Sunlo is a trading name of Olital Solutions Limited, registered in England and Wales (company no. 15699061). Registered office: Unit 8 Manor Farm Business Park, Beachampton, MK19 6DT. VAT no. GB496 801846. Contact us using the form on our website or by email at ecom@sunlo.co.uk.

2. Our products

We sell new, overstock (never installed) and Second Life (used) solar panels. Each listing states the panel's grade, condition and specification.

  • Second Life panels are used. They may show cosmetic wear and produce less than their original label rating. Listings say how a lot was tested; unless a listing gives a measured figure for each panel, panels are not individually power-rated.
  • Overstock panels are unused but may have light handling marks from storage.
  • Photos may show a representative panel from the lot rather than the exact panel you receive.

3. Suitability and installation

It's your responsibility to check that panels suit your system, including voltage, current, dimensions and mounting. Panels should be installed by a competent person in line with current regulations. Used panels may not be eligible for MCS certification or export payment schemes; check with your installer before you buy.

4. Prices and payment

Prices are in pounds sterling and include VAT. Delivery is charged as shown at checkout. Payment is taken when you place your order. We can't accept an order if we've made an obvious pricing error; if that happens, we'll tell you and refund you in full.

5. Contract

Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we email to confirm dispatch or that your order is ready to collect. If an item is no longer available, we'll tell you and refund you.

6. Delivery and risk

Delivery is covered by our shipping policy. The panels become your responsibility when they're delivered to you or collected. Ownership passes to you once we've received full payment.

7. Cancellations, returns and faults

Covered by our refund policy. Consumers have a 14-day right to cancel, and nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.

8. Warranty

We don't provide our own warranty. New panels carry the manufacturer's warranty. Overstock and Second Life panels are sold without a Sunlo warranty. Your statutory rights still apply.

9. Liability

We're responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We don't exclude liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. If you're buying for business purposes, our total liability is limited to the price you paid for the order, and we're not liable for loss of profit, business or revenue.

10. Business customers

If you're buying in the course of a business, the consumer rights to cancel in these terms do not apply to you.

11. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you're a consumer living in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
