Refund policy

This policy explains how returns and refunds work when you buy from Sunlo, a trading name of Olital Solutions Limited. None of it affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

Changed your mind

If you're buying as a consumer, you can cancel your order for any reason within 14 days of the day you receive the panels (or collect them). Tell us within that time using the contact form on our website (sunlo.co.uk/pages/contact) or any other clear statement, then return the panels within 14 days of telling us.

  • Return costs: you pay the cost of returning the panels, or of us collecting them. Panels are large and heavy, so ask us for a collection quote before you book anything.
  • Your refund: we refund the price of the panels and the original delivery charge within 14 days of receiving them back (or of receiving proof you've sent them, if sooner).
  • Condition: panels must come back in the condition we sent them. If they've been installed, damaged or handled more than you'd need to inspect them, we may reduce the refund to reflect the loss in value.

The right to cancel applies to consumers only. Business and trade orders can be cancelled only by agreement.

Faulty, damaged or not as described

Every panel must be as described on its listing, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose. For used (Second Life) and overstock panels, this is judged against the grade, age, condition and price described on the listing.

  • If a panel is faulty or not as described, tell us using the contact form on our website with your order number and the panel's serial number. We'll reply so you can send photos.
  • Within 30 days of delivery you can reject it for a full refund.
  • After 30 days we'll offer a repair or replacement first, and a refund if that isn't possible or doesn't fix the problem.
  • We cover the cost of returning or collecting faulty panels.

Damaged in delivery

Please check every panel before signing for the delivery. If anything is damaged, note it on the delivery paperwork and contact us within 48 hours so we can claim from the carrier. This helps us sort it quickly; it doesn't limit your rights.

Warranty

Sunlo does not provide its own warranty. New panels come with the manufacturer's warranty. Overstock and Second Life panels are sold without a Sunlo warranty, and any manufacturer warranty that still applies is between you and the manufacturer; the listing says when a manufacturer warranty is not available. This does not affect your statutory rights described above.
